YANYAN(2003.04.04)
Fashion Photographer / Digital Artist
With a background in Fine Arts and Digital Media Arts, my work is shaped by both traditional artistic training and contemporary visual culture. Influenced by diverse aesthetics, youth culture and ACG subcultures, I have developed a distinctive visual language rooted in colour, styling and storytelling. Bold saturated palettes, carefully constructed imagery and atmospheric narratives have become defining characteristics of my work.
My creative practice focuses on female experience, identity and subcultural communities. Drawing from personal narratives and social observations, I explore themes of body image, self-expression, social labels and the complexities of contemporary identity. Through photography and image-making, I seek to create space for underrepresented voices while crafting stories that exist between fashion, fantasy and reality—stories filled with vitality, emotion and imagination.
Through my work, I create worlds where fashion, subculture and imagination intersect, inviting viewers to step into narratives that are playful, emotionally resonant and vividly alive.
